I am referring to how the game itself exists as a true sandbox. I am not referring to avoiding scaring off new players more sensitive to that type of content. I can't say that the outright ban of this kind of content will "help" the game by outright restricting options. However despite how tasteless, annoying, and stupid it is to have a rape feature, this game is a sandbox where players create the experience they desire. Having one of your defining personal projects being exposed in some hit piece under the title 'THIS GAME ALLOWS YOU TO RAPE FEMALE PLAYERS' (which would most likely fail to even mention the fact that this is user generated content, completely independent of development intentions) could cripple your future endeavors. As someone who was heavily involved with the Gmod RP community, I can't say I disagree with the personal stance Garry has taken taken, nor can I say that any of these servers have any value to 99% of people who play the game, myself included.
